Privacy policy

Manahawkin Leaf Removal Services is a trade name of Swell Ventures LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we give it to.

What we collect

What you type into our forms: your name, phone number, email address, property address, a description of the problem, and any photos you upload. Basic technical information your browser sends, such as IP address and pages visited.

If you telephone us: your phone number and the caller information your carrier provides, what you tell us about the property, and a recording of the call. We tell you at the start of every call that it is being recorded. If you would rather not be recorded, use the request form instead and no recording is made.

Why we collect it

To pass your request to contractors who may be able to help, to follow up with you about it, and to run and improve the service.

Who we share it with

This is the important part. When you submit a request, we share it with a contractor who covers your area — normally one, and never more than three. That includes your contact details and your description of the problem — they can't help you otherwise. Those contractors are separate businesses. Once they have your information, their own privacy practices apply to what they do with it, not ours.

We also use service providers to run the site, send messages, and process contractor payments. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Call recording

Calls to our published number are recorded, and we say so at the beginning of the call before anything else is discussed. Continuing the call is how you agree to it; if you would rather not be recorded, hang up and use the request form instead.

We record for three reasons and no others: so the contractor we match you with gets an accurate description and you don't have to explain it twice, so we can check what was actually said if there is ever a disagreement, and so we can tell a real request from the sales calls and wrong numbers any published number attracts.

A recording may be shared with the contractor we refer you to, for the same reason your written description is. We keep recordings for a limited period and then delete them. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.

Text messages

If you consent, we and the contractors we refer you to may text you about your request, including through automated systems. Consent is never a condition of anything. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep request records while they may still be useful to you or to us, and as long as required for our records. You can ask us to delete yours.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent to be contacted. Ask through the contact route on this site. Note that we can't retrieve information already passed to a contractor — you'd need to ask them.

Children

This service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top.
