How this works

1. You tell us what the yard looks like

Describe it in your own words — how deep it's got, whether the beds and fence lines need doing too, and whether you want it bagged for the township or taken away. Photos help but aren't required. It takes a couple of minutes and costs nothing.

2. We check it and route it

We work out what kind of job it is and which crews cover your town. Before any contractor receives anything from us, we confirm their registration is active with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, and we record the date we checked. Insurance is not part of that check. Nothing we look at tells you whether a policy is in force on the day a crew is standing in your yard, so ask them for a current certificate of insurance before they start.

3. They contact you

One. We pass your request to a single crew who covers your area and does that type of work, so you're not fielding calls from four companies about the same yard. If they can't get to it, tell us and we'll pass it to another.

4. You decide

You choose who to talk to, who to get quotes from, and whether to hire anyone at all. We're not part of that conversation and we don't take a cut of the job.

What we don't do

We don't clear yards. We don't supervise the work. We don't hold your money, and we're not a party to any agreement you make with a crew. We don't guarantee any outcome, and we can't tell you what your yard will cost — only someone who looks at it can do that.

How we're paid

A contractor pays us a flat monthly fee to receive the requests this site produces. Homeowners never pay us anything, and we take no cut of the job. That's worth knowing so you can weigh what we say accordingly — we have an interest in you making contact with a contractor, and no interest in which one you pick or whether you hire them.
