Who we are
Manahawkin Leaf Removal Services ("we," "us") is a lead-referral service operated by Swell Ventures LLC in Stafford Township, New Jersey. We connect homeowners in Southern Ocean County with independent local contractors ("crews") who perform leaf removal, yard cleanup, gutter clearing and related services. We are not a contractor and we do not perform the work ourselves.
What we collect
When you submit our quote request form, we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address (if you provide one), service address, the services you want, your property size, your preferred timing, and any notes you add about the job.
We do not collect payment information from homeowners. Our service is free to you — you pay the crew you hire directly, on whatever terms you agree with them.
Our website does not use advertising trackers or sell browsing data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and reliability.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Match your request with local crews who serve your area and perform the work you need
- Share your contact and job details with those crews so they can reach you with a quote
- Send you updates about your request by text or email — for example, that a crew has accepted it, or that we're still looking
- Respond to questions you send us
- Understand, in aggregate, how our service is performing
Who we share it with
Crews. The core of our service is passing your request to local contractors. A request may be shared with up to three crews so you can compare quotes, or with a single crew if it is an exclusive referral. Crews are independent businesses, not our employees. Once we pass along your details, the crew's own handling of your information is governed by their practices, not ours. Our provider agreement requires them to use your information only to quote the work you requested, and prohibits reselling, sharing, or spamming it.
Service providers. We use third-party services to operate the site — including our web host, our text-messaging provider, and our email provider. They process data on our behalf in order to deliver our service.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Text messages
When you submit a request, you agree that we and the crews we match you with may contact you by phone, text, or email about that request. Message frequency varies based on your request activity. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving texts from us, reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts will not remove you from our records or stop a crew you have already been matched with from calling you — to stop that as well, contact us using the details below.
We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing, and mobile opt-in data is never sold or shared with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep request records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet our record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts — reply STOP to any message from us.
- Ask what we hold — contact us and we'll tell you what we have about you.
- Ask us to delete it — contact us and we'll remove your records.
- Correct it — tell us if anything is wrong and we'll fix it.
New Jersey residents may have additional rights regarding personal data under state law. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.
Children
Our service is intended for homeowners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard what you give us.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date below. Material changes will be noted clearly on this page.
